What to expect:

+ Guided Tours: Walk through our Toddler, Elementary, and Middle School classrooms and facilities.

4:00 PM — Arrive, sign in, and grab some Childpeace swag for your family

4:15 PM — Welcome and introductions

4:20 PM — Guided tours of our classrooms and campus

5:00 PM — Community gathering on the playground

Stay for the celebration

From 5:00 to 6:00, join us outside for live music, ice cream, snacks, and games for kids and adults alike. This is when you'll meet current Childpeace families and experience the warmth of our community firsthand. It's our favorite part of the day.

Bringing the kids? Yes, please. The Open House is built for families. Children of all ages are welcome, and there's plenty for them to do.

Which ages is this for? Families considering Toddler (12 months) through 8th grade. You'll have the chance to see every program area.

Parking? Street parking is available along NW Thurman and the surrounding blocks. Plan a few extra minutes.

We've spent 50 years focused on how children grow, not just what they learn. The Open House is your chance to see what that looks like in practice. You'll walk through Toddler, Children's House, Elementary, and Metro Middle School spaces. You'll see the materials, the mixed-age classrooms, and the three-hour work cycles that make authentic Montessori different from what you might remember from your own schooling.
